An example is a standard operating procedure or a work instruction and recordsRecord: this shows the results of what has happened in the past. An example is a machinery log book or a training record. required to show how the system operates and to know what has happened in the past.

How to implement

The main purpose of controlling documentsDocument: this tells how a procedure or process works. An example is a standard operating procedure or a work instruction. is to ensure that the latest approved version of all documents is available for use and that older versions are not in circulation. Documents need to include a means of knowing their version.
