2.7 Establish the structure for EnMS implementation
What is this?
A level of planning and project management will be required for the implementation of a successful EnMS. The scope of this project is likely to be close to the content of this web-Guide . The plan should include keeping the EnMS as simple as possible in the first instance.
The energy management representative needs to be engaged and supportive throughout the planning, implementation and ongoing improvement of the EnMs and of the organisation’s energy performance.
How to implement
A sample project plan is available here. This can be updated as required in your organisation. Note: This plan is for the initial implementation of the EnMS. The operation of the EnMS is not a project. It is an ongoing open-ended management process based on continual improvement.
